The location of the Tourist lodge is especially advantageous if you have work in the salt lake area or sector 5 area which is the hub of IT business in Kolkata. Sector 5 even on foot can be reached within 10 minutes from Udayachal Tourist Lodge. The Rajarhat new town area is also easily accessible within a driving distance of about 10 minutes. Aiport is about 30 minutes from here. However if you have to travel to central Kolkata area for work or pleasure, this is not the best place to stay as during office hours, it may take close to an hour to reach there.
